Summary for Learning Fellows & Mentors:

LaunchGrid is designed with privacy-by-design. We only collect the minimal personal data needed to deliver daily learning concepts, receive your proof submissions via Telegram, and inform mentors or guardians of your progress. We do not sell your data or serve commercial advertisements.

1. Identity of the Data Fiduciary

Under Section 2(i) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA 2023) of India, the Data Fiduciary determining the purpose and means of processing personal data is:

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

LaunchGrid processes the following limited data attributes strictly for cohort delivery:

Identity Data: Full name and registered educational email address.
Telegram Bot Binding: Telegram numerical Chat ID and Telegram Username (captured upon deep-link pairing).
Academic & Task Verification: Submitted URLs (e.g. GitHub PRs, LeetCode solutions, personal code repositories).
Audit Logs: Timestamps of task completions, relative day progression, and backlog catch-ups.

3. Specified & Lawful Purposes of Processing (Section 5, DPDPA 2023)

Your data is processed based on your explicit consent for:

Dispatching daily morning learning curricula and implementation assignments via the tenant Telegram bot.
Processing /done proof URLs and computing backlog streaks.
Dispatching optional automated achievement updates to authorized guardians/mentors on your silent watchlist.
Maintaining administrative dashboards for cohort pacing and exam/buffer schedule adjustments.

4. Rights of the Data Principal (Section 11, 12, 13 DPDPA 2023)

You have full legal rights under DPDPA 2023:

Right to Access (Section 11)

Request a full summary of all your personal data, completions, and cohort records.

Right to Correction & Erasure (Section 12)

Request correction of inaccuracies or deletion of your Telegram bindings and account.

Right to Withdraw Consent (Section 6)

Stop bot messaging at any time by unbinding your Telegram account or notifying your mentor.

Right of Grievance Redressal (Section 13)

Escalate concerns to our designated Grievance Officer or the Data Protection Board of India.
